Orlando is partnering with International Speedway Corporation (ISC), Daytona International Speedway (DIS) and Coca-Cola to enhance multi-cultural outreach programs and contribute to expanding the fan base for motorsports.  The promotion targets JAMZ core demographics of predominantly African-American and Hispanic 18-34 year-old females.

Mid-day announcer Ronda Jordan endorses “Ladies’ Night Out”. Account Executive Larry B. Davis originated and developed the promotion. Promotions Director Keith Memoly originated the concept for the web site presence and shot the footage of Ronda doing The Richard Petty Driving ExperienceSenior Account Executive Mark Cody is responsible for editing the content.  CBS Radio Orlando Web Master Brad Haynes, as usual, put it all together.

The three-week effort climaxes with a listener/fan excursion to this weekend’s Coke Zero 400 Powered by Coca-Cola at the Daytona International Speedway.  The promotion is the beginning of what’s slated to be a three-five year partnership.   Awareness was created with on-air web promos and spots, streaming spots and a strong presence on 102JAMZOrlando.com.

CBS Radio Orlando procured $110,000 from Kennedy Space Center for a buy that was only awarded to one group in the market.

The business was won primarily due to the web element with a flash web ad tied into a program nominating a parent of the week. The overall message, "Is your parent out of this world?", tied in perfectly with Kennedy Space Center.

Through this campaign, Kennedy Space Center increased their web traffic by 30% and was so impressed with the program that they used similair ads with other radio groups throughout the state of Florida.

102 JAMZ partnered up with Atlantic Recording artist Lupe Fiasco for an innovative online campaign promoting his new single 'SuperStar'.
