VANESSA Vanessa was born of Dominican and Italian decent and raised in Boca Raton, Florida. She was always entranced with music and became an avid follower of hip-hop as early as elementary school. She attended Boca Raton High and had a part time job as a nanny and assisting an interior decorator.
Vanessa moved to Orlando in 2004 to attend UCF and graduated in December 2008 with a degree in Communications and Marketing. She started at 102JAMZ as an intern and became an official member of the 102JAMZ Street Squad following her internship in August 2006. She is currently a promotions assistant and board operator for weekend on-air shifts. Vanessa is a hip-hop head at heart and loves music of all types. She plans on working in the music business in a big city one day, but until then Orlando is where she continues to flourish. Traveling is and always has been number one on her list, visiting Africa, Europe, Mexico, and the Caribbean.
Currently she is interning and learning the inner workings of artist management, building a promotions company and starting her own business. Vanessa continues to have a love for the music, but wants to explore other venues of the entertainment industry.
