DJ D LYFE- Hailing from Amityville, NY Jonathan, AKA DJ D Lyfe, was exposed to and became a fan of a variety of music of from an early age. Jonathan would flirt with a variety of hobbies till his mother purchased him his first set of turntables in the 8th grade.
Always an intelligent student in the classroom Jonathan was forced with the same questions as every teenager when they think about their future and what they want to spend the rest of his life doing. To the shock of many and the unwavering support of his mother, he took the road less taken and attempted to make his passion his career. With this in mind, Jonathan was headed to Orlando, FL to study Recording Engineering and the Music Business at Full Sail Real World Education. With a steady work ethic and determination Jonathan graduated near the top of his class and received an Associate’s Degree in Recording Arts and a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Business. While in school he also interned for 102JAMZ in Orlando, FL and worked his way up to a part-time Promotions Assistant upon his graduation.
Currently Jonathan “DJ D Lyfe” Coutrier-Owens is DJing at local clubs and venues, to engineering and doing production work for a variety of artists in the studio. DJ D Lyfe stays busy chasing his dreams of one day making the records he has fallen in love with. With a strong work ethic, faith and determination - the future could not be brighter for DJ D Lyfe.
